Hello, GetFit@wrrfc Community,
My name is Laura. I’m a recent college graduate and I now work from home full time. I have been a member at WRRFC for 6+ years and am a big fan of Power Pump and Yoga. I’m also a runner and I completed my first half marathon in March 2012!I want to take these 8 weeks to set up a fitness routine that I will stick with, instead of stopping when I get too busy. I have had many fitness highs and lows over the past few years, as I have struggled to make my workouts a healthy habit, rather than simply an afterthought.
I am committing to this challenge because I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life. I am ready to make a change. I have two main goals for these 8 weeks. My first goal is to create a healthy meal plan for each week and stick to it. I know that food has been a major reason I have not had success in the past, no matter how much I worked out. Hopefully, by completing the workouts in the GetFit program and by following my meal plans, I will accomplish my second goal – losing 10 pounds.
I hope to see everyone around the club…working on their goals too!
