The hotter it gets this summer, the harder it is to find the energy to get to the gym. On days like these, your body sweats more than normal and staying hydrated becomes all the more important. Don’t wait until you get to the gym to grab that bottle of water. Make sure you are drinking extra H2O throughout the day so your body is prepared when you do make it in to work out.
Also, make sure you add in extra time for a cool down. When you work out, your body temperature rises and it takes a few minutes to get back down to normal. If you head right back out into the heat after your workout, your body could stay overheated so take 5-10 minutes after your workout to cool down and help beat the heat.
