What is the difference between training with DVDs and training with a certified trainer?The overall training with the DVDs and certified trainers is essentially the same, but the DVDs offer no modifications. Certified trainers are able to adjust workouts and modify high impact movements for all levels.
What is the difference between Power Pump and Insanity?The main difference between the two workouts is that Power Pump utilizes weights and equipment, whereas Insanity uses solely weight bearing exercises. Although these two workouts differ, Power Pump does incorporate blocks of the Insanity workout into its exercises.
What is max interval training?
Insanity is high intensity, max interval training. These types of workouts require participants to work harder for long periods of time, and rest for shorter periods of time, which allows people to burn calories for hours after the workout. Regular interval training is when you work hard for short periods of time, and rest for longer periods of time.
When is Insanity offered at WRRFC?Insanity is offered at 6 AM on Monday and Wednesday, 6 AM and 8 AM on Friday, and 6:40 PM on Thursdays. Anne is the instructor for the 6 AM sessions; Nikki teaches the other class times.
